Victory at MIT Enterprise Forum Poland

We know that where there’s a will, there’s a way, and challenges only motivate us to work harder. And that is precisely why we have won the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland competition!

MIT Enterprise Forum Poland is one of the largest accelerators for technology start-ups in Poland. This year, the team of Polish and international experts reviewed the submissions of more than 100 companies – applicants to the 5th edition to select 18 start-ups that develop unique technologies. As part of the accelerator programme, we spent 3 months to fine-tune business models of our projects in four industry-specific paths: health, InsurTech, AgriTech and Industry 4.0.

5 workshop modules were held where we gained invaluable knowledge about cooperation with investors and mentors, legal protection of intellectual property, expansion into foreign markets, branding and customer acquisition. The organiser of the acceleration programme also took care of the development of our practical skills as part of the Pitch Academy where the participating start-ups could learn how to prepare and deliver presentations of their technology proposals to investors and other audiences.

During the DemoDay on 8 January in Warsaw the finalists were selected and Bioavlee won a ticket for the weekly Bootcamp in Boston.

– A trip to the US opens up new possibilities, not only for our microorganism identification technology, but also for commercialisation of our products on the global cosmetics market – emphasizes Michał Wronecki, Bioavlee CEO.
